Folk Group
The Folk Group is one of several music ministries here at St. Boniface Parish. It is a small musical group that includes both vocalists and instrumentalists who provide music for the 9:00 A.M. Mass each Sunday. The music sung by the group includes many easier tunes and rhythms along with the simple harmonies where available. It is less formal than the traditional organ music available at our other services.
The group usually meets one evening a week for a two hour practice at a time convenient to all members, and also practices prior to Mass each Sunday.
The only rule is that one must attend practice on a routine basis in order to sing at Mass with the group. No musical experience is required. For further information contact the parish secretary at 825-4439.
